I gotta laugh or I'll cry

So, I think I am being taught a lesson in patience. And I have to admit I think I am failing. Went to the doctor today and guess what? No change. Although I am still contracting regularly I haven't dilated at all. The baby is still high up in my pelvis too. Since this is my first baby I can't be induced until 41 weeks. Stupid hospital policies! The doctor said that unless anything changes I will be induced on Nov 7th. Exactly 41 weeks. And he also said to not be surprised and to try to prepare myself for a possible c-section. He thinks that the baby might not fit through my pelvis. That's the only way he can explain why I have continued to contract as much I am but the baby is still high. So, poor Wade and my co-workers have to live with my ornery, waddling self for another 10 days or so. I am apologizing to everyone in advance :)

OH you poor thing. Well you never know, things can change so fast. If all of this is a peak into your little man's personality its dead on that hes for sure stubborn like his daddy. Like father like son already, poor Brynn. I'll be praying things happens sooner, hang in there

Don't worry the time will go by and it will be over, then you will forget all the trouble you went through. Although it sucks really bad this far into it. Can't wait to hear the good news!

Shawna, I am NOT stubborn. Also, Honey, I'll live. I just feel bad for you. Hope I'll be more help to you than trouble.

I'm sure the time will fly by, and once you have your little man you won't even remember all this trouble! I'll be praying it comes sooner for you! Hang in there!

Hang in there and I will tell you this, your baby will look so beautiful! Being in the belly longer they get rid of most of the peeling and the yuck so their skin looks so good. Get tons of sleep!

Ok...prepare for that c-section but don't worry about it. Most of my babies didn't engage until my water broke and then they just came flying out. But which ever way he gets here you'll be happy to have him. Hang tough and your prize is almost here!
