Happy New Year!

Whew! I can't seem to find the time to blog anymore. Jericho is too much fun to play with and also loves to occupy my time by requiring me to hold him in order to avoid screaming fits :) He is getting so big and he is smiling more and more all the time. His smile can make my day! He is also doing a lot of babbling and I know he is talking to us. He changes his voice and makes the cutest little faces.
We had a great Christmas. We were able to make a quick trip to Vernal to see my family and it was wonderful. I haven't been home on the actual Christmas holiday in over 4 years. Being a nurse has required me to work on holidays and therefore I haven't been able to be there. It was so fun to be at our annual Christmas Eve party and Christmas breakfast at Grandma Batty's. I love seeing my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephews and of course my parents. My brother was even here from California with their little boy so it was great to be able to see them. We were spoiled with gifts and of course Jericho had no idea what was going on! Next year I'm sure he'll be into the boxes and wrapping paper like crazy. When we got back to Payson after our crazy drive in the snow we were able to have a short visit with Wade's family before I had to go to work. As always they spoiled us rotten!
It's amazing how my life has changed in the past 4 years. Life is so wonderful and I owe it all to my wonderful husband and baby boy. Wade has been such a blessing in my life and I am so grateful for him. He teaches me every day and makes me want to try to be the best wife/mom possible. Jericho is my little angel from Heaven and I know he is here to help me be a better person in every way possible. I can't describe how much I love and cherish him!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that you have a safe and Happy New Year! I promise to post some pictures soon :)

So fun that you were able to spend Christmas with your family. That is always nice! I had to work that day...the joy of law enforcement. My parents have a gift for you, and we're going to try to eventually come visit, but we've all been sick. Hopefully we'll see you and your little guy soon!
